The Red Star Sky debut single wasn't planned. It was more of a spontaneous "wrote a song about it, here it goes" response to the feelings I was having as election night 2020 was failing to deliver the catharsis of a strong repudiation of everything that Trump and Trumpism has represented over the last 4-5 years.

Once written, I felt the need to see the song to completion quickly and in this current moment, and that's where Red Star Sky begins. There's a lot more where that came from. Thanks in particular to Read Connolly for cutting pedal steel tracks for me in a matter of hours.
